About the lessons

Surfing lessons are available for beginners and intermediate surfers. Beginner lessons are suited to people who have never surfed before, have only surfed a couple of times, or want to get more comfortable in small waves.

Intermediate lessons are for surfers who have spent more time in the water and are ready to work on catching green waves, reading position, improving take off, generating speed, turning and building better surf confidence.

Beginner lessons

The beginner lesson covers basic theory, surf safety, surf etiquette, board characteristics, paddling technique, how to stand, and how to ride your first small waves.

Intermediate lessons

The intermediate lesson focuses on catching green waves, priority rules, reading position, refining take off, generating speed, developing turns and improving surf confidence.

Private lessons
